Enza Ginerva, RDH, brings an international flavor to the Mark Groskin office. Her parents immigrated to North America from Italy, and it was in Toronto, Canada, that Enza was born and lived for the first five years of her life. The family next moved to the borough of Queens in New York City and remained there for four years, before finally coming upstate to make their home in Rochester, New York.
Enza attended Greece-Olympia High School, which is where her interest in medicine and medical care began. She decided to go into either hygiene or nursing, and eventually entered the Hygiene program at Monroe Community.
She’s spent fifteen years now providing hygienic care to people and patients – the last nine of those years, with Dr. G.
Enza feels there’s more to good care than only cleaning teeth. “We need to educate people,” she feels.
Enza has a daughter and two twin boys -- Anthony (named after her husband), and Matteo (which is Italian for Matthew). In her spare time she likes to work out and shop, but most of all she likes to enjoy her “alone time” reading. What’s she reading about at the moment? Parenting.
“Children mean everything,” she says.
